I love listening to podcasts. In the car, working, exercising- if there is a moment where I can put some earbuds in and listen to other people talk- I will. I feel like the age of podcasts is happening and is here. So obviously we needed to see what the podcast life is all about.
First of all, we are thrilled and honored to announce that Nicole was featured on the Word of Mom Radio Podcast with her good friend Dori DeCarlo. They talked all about Mamas and Mimosas, and highlighted the awesome women that are a part of this event. It was super fun to sit down and chat with Dori- someone who has been to our events, and even went to the first Mamas and Mimosas! We have been working on a concept for a Celebrate Shelton podcast for a couple of months now. It was just an idea at first! A passing thought. But of course, we had to make it happen.
To say we are excited is an understatement. We headed down to Royal Fox Studio in Shelton, met up with our friend Lou Fournier and did the damn thing. Thank you to our first two very special guests, Executive Director and Founder of @adamshousect, Allison Wysota and the incredibly talented Lee-Ann Lovelace.
It was an amazing time filled with great conversation, hearty laughs, and most importantly- we got to talk about what we love. Our community. Shelton, CT. Adam's House. The Great Give. And yes- Mamas and Mimosas. (Which I am very, very, very excited about. Literally jumping out of my seat. It is truly going to be amazing and I URGE you to venture over to Adam's House on May 7th from 10-3 and support a great cause.) We're in the home stretch baby! I hope to see you there.
