It’s the middle of November. It’s time to hang some holly and get jolly. Which also means it’s time for our 9th annual Community Tree Lighting.
If you thought last year was festive AF you are going to lose your mind this year. The Boy Scouts will be helping with bonfires, hot cocoa, and cookies (no one is getting cold on their watch!) The Giggling Pig will be there to make ornaments with the kids. Heck- even the Shelton High School & Shelton Intermediate Choir will be caroling all through the night. There will be a handmade market, so we can put our money where our home is for the holidays. And of course, that big guy from the North Pole is coming. You might know him…. Santa? He’s even bringing Mrs. Claus!
We've also "TEAM"ed up with TEAM inc to help families in need this season. Please bring a new, unwrapped toy for children ages 0-12 to help the families directly in our community that are in great need. Let’s give them the best Christmas yet!
By the way, the Community Tree Lighting is on December 2nd from 5:30-8:30 at Veterans Memorial Park. The actual tree lighting will be at 7:00 PM, so don’t miss it. Put on your favorite holiday playlist or listen to ours below on Spotify! Only a few more days till the festivities begin!
