CELEBRATE SHELTON HOLDS 2 DAY DOWNTOWN SOUNDS FALL EDITION

SHELTON - Celebrate Shelton is announcing Downtown Sounds Fall Edition on Friday October 11th from 5:00pm - 10:00pm and Saturday October 12th from 11:00am - 8:00pm. The rain date is Sunday, October 13th.
"You can expect an amazing lineup of live music, over 14 delicious local food trucks each day, family fun and so much more”, said Co-Founder Nicole Heriot-Mikula.
On Friday, October 11th, Connecticut’s popular The Alpaca Gnomes will hit the stage at 8:00pm with direct support from Christopher Cavaliere. Kids Hour begins at 5:15pm with Hands on Drumming.
On Saturday, October 12th, Lee-Ann Lovelace Band headlines and The Gaslight Tinkers, Michael Sanford Day and The Hard Feelings round out the day with Kids Hour kicking off at 11:15amwith Tom Weber Music.
Co-Founder Jimmy Tickey noted, "We want to continue to make our downtown a destination for families, and our furry friends as well. Don’t miss our Pup Parade & Costume Contest. We love expanding each year - and this costume dog parade has been a hit! Register for free on our website.”
There will be Paint-A-Pumpkin activity courtesy of Liberty Bank & Wells Hollow Farm while supplies last on Saturday. Families can shop local through our Vendor Village, choose from 14+ food trucks each day, sip on craft brews and local wine and children have face painting, henna, glitter tattoos, slime-making, yoga classes and more to come!
On Saturday, October 12th at 3:15pm there will be the 2nd Annual Pup Parade & Costume Contest - so be sure to register your dog, and bring them on a leash with their best costume!
There is a $10 suggested donation per person to sustain Celebrate Shelton's efforts in the community.
