WHERE ARE YOUR EVENTS?
Food Trucks on the River, Downtown Sounds Summer Concerts & Fall Edition and the Community Tree Lighting are al located at Veterans Memorial Park, Shelton, CT on 38 Canal Street East.
WHERE CAN I PARK?
Parking is available in all public parking lots (next to Farmer’s Market and behind Conti Building), along Canal Street where permitted and outside the perimeter of event on the field at Riverdale Ave & Wharf Street.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ATTEND?
All of our events are free to the public. We ask for a suggested donation per person to continue our efforts. We put every dollar back into the event and your support allows us to sustain and keep events free to the community.
DO YOU SERVE FOOD?
No outside coolers or food are allowed. However, we do have some of the best local food trucks which offer something for everybody!
A personal water bottle is allowed inside as well as any baby food items or small children’s snacks or food due to food allergies.
DO YOU SERVE ALCOHOL?
Yes, we have a bar with craft brews from New Belgium, wine from Love Lou, and Canteen Vodka & Tequilla drinks. Everyone is ID checked at the entrance of Beer Tent and all 21+ must wear a wristband for duration of event. Please enter on the left side of the Beer Tent to be ID checked before proceeding to the cashiers table to purchase drink tickets. Drink tickets are then redeemed at the beer and wine stations in the Beer Tent.
CAN I BRING MY DOG?
Well behaved dogs are welcome in Veterans Memorial Park. Pets must be kept on leash at all times and we kindly ask that you pick up after them.
ARE THERE RESTROOMS?
Restrooms are located within the Farmers Market Building for all of our events. We will also have portable toilets and hand wash stations located outside the perimeter of event.
IS THERE AN ATM?
We do have an ATM on site for events at Veterans Memorial Park and most vendors accept credit/debit cards.
CAN I BRING MY DRONE?
Drones are not allowed unless hired by Celebrate Shelton. Any drones in the park must be approved by Celebrate Shelton and local FAA guidelines.
WHAT ELSE IS PROHIBITED?
No weapons.
No illegal drugs.
No large coolers.
No large backpacks.
No outside food or drink.
